In the summer of 1690 the famous Italian scientist Galileo Galilei’s life and work were altered by reports from Holland about a new option instrument. Galileo used the description of this new invention to put tougher an effective combination of lenses. It instantly became the best telescope in existence. With it he made many of his famous discoveries. Telescopes were made in differente versions for astronomical and daily use.
